UFR named finalist in Australian Technologies Competition 2019
The team at Universal Field Robots is proud to announce that we have made it through to the finals in this year’s Australian Technologies Competition (ATC) in two categories: Mining Technology and Energy Resources. We are in great company with 17 other finalist technology companies spanning across ten industries, from technology to prevent wind turbine damage to emergency storm solutions.
The Australian Technologies Competition (ATC) is Australia’s nationwide competition, partnering and late stage accelerator program. The ATC identifies technology SMEs and ‘scaleups’ with global potential and accelerates their growth through capability building, domestic and international industry connections and national awards recognition. The ATC has 10 awards up for grabs, with special thanks to the sponsors.
Following a rigorous assessment process, a two-day Masterclass in Sydney, and access to a personal mentor, the UFR team had to prepare a concise business plan that was scrutinised by an independent panel of judges.
The 33 semi-finalist companies were then whittled down to the 17 finalist companies, who will now compete at this year’s National Finals – to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 29 October 2019.
Congratulations to all the finalists! We are looking forward to meeting up with you again and presenting at the ATC 2019 National Finals & Awards.
