UFR thrilled with win at the Australian Technologies Competition 2019
The team at Universal Field Robots is delighted that we took out first place at the Australian Technologies Competition 2019 in the mining technologies award category. The ATC 2019 winners were announced at a gala dinner last Tuesday night at the Members Dining Room of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Our win is the result of a team of fantastic engineers working tirelessly to save lives and revolutionise the way we work outdoors across the agriculture, construction and resources sectors.
The Australian Technologies Competition (ATC) is Australia’s nationwide competition, partnering and late stage accelerator program. The ATC identifies technology SMEs and scaleups with global potential and accelerates their growth through capability building, domestic and international industry connections and national awards recognition.

“We are honoured to accept the award, especially given the competition was such an impressive display of Australian born innovation and technology across a diverse range of industries and applications”.
A very special thank you to the sponsors for the 10 awards given out at the competition, especially METS Ignited and NERA, who were the sponsors of the two categories for which we were made finalist.
