Federal Member for Brisbane Trevor Evans MP visits Universal Field Robots

On the afternoon of Tuesday 26 February, Universal Field Robots was honoured to have Federal Member for Brisbane, Trevor Evans MP, visit not only their headquarters in Fortitude Valley, but also their testing site at The Gap in Brisbane.

UFR MD Jeff Sterling with Trevor Evans MP

Mr Evans was interested to hear about Universal Field Robots‘ traction with various industry customers to date, to meet the engineering and development team, and to watch a live demo that showed how we are implementing autonomous robotics solutions on solar farms to make solar power more affordable, while reducing construction hazards, and addressing labour shortages.

“I was lucky enough to visit Universal Field Robots this afternoon and speak with Jeff and his team about their work in the development of powerful robotic products. Universal Field Robots employs a team of mechatronics, software and mechanical engineers, who develop products with potential commercial applications across a wide range of industries” – Trevor Evans MP.

The team at Universal Field Robots would like to thank Mr Evans for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit our head office and testing site.

“We are grateful to Trevor for being so generous with his time this afternoon and for his offer to facilitate relevant industry introductions here in Brisbane. We thoroughly enjoyed showcasing our autonomous robot fleet and look forward to sharing further developments with Trevor and his team in the near future” – Universal Field Robots Founding Director, Jeff Sterling.
