UFR at International Conference on Robotics and Automation
The Universal Field Robots team will be exhibiting and attending the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) from Monday 21 – Friday 25 May 2018 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The ICRA is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s flagship conference and is a premier international forum for robotics researchers to present their work. Established in 1984 and held annually, the conference joins experts in the field of robotics and automation for technical communications through presentations and discussions. The conference creates a remarkable environment to indulge all the delegates in the frontier of science and technology in robotics and automation.
Universal Field Robots will join 56 other exhibitors at the event, including Woodside Energy, UBER, KUKA, Honda Research Institute, CSIRO, QUT, and many more.
Come and visit the UFR team in booth 10 – we will be hard to miss, as we will have our 4m high yellow excavator on display right in front of our booth. Find out about advancements on the UFR3C – our 3-ton robotic base based on a Caterpillar excavator that is capable of much more than just digging holes.
Attachments include mowers, mulchers, augers, trenchers, slashers, drilling buckets, grab assemblies and many more; with software development for the autonomous operation of each currently underway for the targeted application areas of agriculture, construction, mining and forestry.
